Around this time last year indilean held a contest to give away two Ovation acoustic electric guitars. We asked readers to share their stories of young people who are passionate about music but not fortunate enough to have an instrument. When all was said and done one guitar went to a young man living with disabilities in a poverty stricken family and the other went to an organization called Casa De Milagros that operates an orphanage in Cuscu, Peru. What’s better than helping one young person? Helping a whole group!

Since the guitar was passed along we’ve gotten updates and a couple of pictures such as the one shown above. Kind of a “before and after” shot. It’s great to see kids having so much fun with music and we’re happy to support great organizations and individuals making a difference for these young people.
