This song reminds me of being at a rowdy bar.. it doesn’t feel safe but there is so much going on. There’s the girl with bloodshot eyes partying her mind out, trying to escape. There’s the tough guy with his gun looking to prove a point. You get in with the price of a drink or cover and the rest comes free. Bars used to be really smokey and it would be hard to breath. I think the guys from Temple Scene are really smart and probably not huge into this sort of rough scene so wondering how they ended up in an environment like this must have been depressing at times. I’ve never really liked the chaos and lack of control found in bars, it always feels like shit is just about to hit the fan, way different from the organization and delicacy, attention to detail of making an album in the studio.
