I can’t get started from the part where I left off yesterday
should have spent my time a little wiser
I sat alone, guilty as sin, waiting for words to come
from out of my head, still making sense to anyone
I can’t wait to understand the reason
I’ve left to translate any meaning
besides, it’s not worth it to try
get out, get out
lock myself up in a room without a window
just to see if it was any easier to breathe (I was wrong)
never underestimate the daylight
there it’s so much easier to breathe, yeah
I can’t wait to understand the reason
I’ve left to translate any meaning
besides, it’s not worth it to try
get out, get out, get out, get out
there’s no meaning
besides, it’s not worth it to try
get out, get out, get out, get out
get out, get

[...] Today Circa Survive announced a street date and title for their highly anticipated upcoming third full length album. It’s called Blue Sky Noise and it hits shelves April 20th 2010. Circa recently signed with Atlantic Records when their terms ended at Equal Vision Records. They’ve kept ties with Esao Andrews who did the album artwork for previous covers and that’s great news (see album cover for Blue SKy Noise below). Anyone who preorders the album (or one of their special bundles which include a vinyl, shirt and messenger bag) gets the digital version a week early on April 13th as well as an immediate download of Get Out. Great song! I’m glad they put this out a bit early because I’m totally excited for the new album. I wonder what the painting for the album art is all about? Seems like many Circa songs focus on religion and the man in the picture almost looks like Anthony Green. He’s got that golden halo like an angel but it’s actually a monster about to eat his head off… I wonder what’s going on with his right arm too, looks bloody like when religious people whip and lash themselves to empathize with Christ. Pretty crazy painting by Esao Andrews.
