infinite silence
flowing right in with the dawn
this is wrong, this is wrong
and I cannot sleep without the radio on

and how could anyone
you are in my dreams
half human, half machine
you’re with someone else, that I have felt and seen
I cannot rest on my consciousness contest
looking right through the lens
from winter brings the spring again

infinite silence
rolling, riding with the dawn
this is wrong, this is wrong
and I cannot sleep without the radio on

and we fall asleep again with times to mend
so please let the cleaning begin
the evolution

hold my breath ’til communication is
only just a test
hold my breath ’til communication is
only just a test
hold my breath ’til communication is
only just a test

you were in my dream
half human, half machine
looking right through the lens
from winter brings the spring again

infinite silence
flowing right in with the dawn
this is wrong, this is wrong
and I cannot sleep without the radio on

infinite silence
rolling, riding with the dawn
this is wrong, this is wrong
and I cannot sleep without the radio

In The Morning And Amazing Song Meaning & Comments:

  • I love the guitar in this song and I thought I knew the lyrics but several things were different than I expected. I thought it was “hold my breath until communication ends” but I almost like the real words better… ’till communication is only just a test. I’m not sure what the test is for, or what this song is about really. In the morning and amazing, like an awakening from the winter that is referred to later? Making love in the morning and needing to keep the radio on to obscure the sound? I think my favorite verse is “looking right through the lens from winter brings the spring again” it reminds me of the verse “can we last through the winter” from their song in fear and faith. So many circa songs seem to be about overcoming different stages, touring in a band must be rough.
