Amazing song with incredible vocals, so high, and lyrics that turn the gears of my mind. The line “the light from the sun, it’s the story that never gets sold, the light from the sun, it is your mother” just amazing. Really gets me thinking about balance, nature, the way consumerism and religion both miss the mark… So many Circa songs touch on these two factors and I just feel like this song taps into something so deep, it becomes clear by the end, trading your soul… I would like to know what some of the other lines mean, the in between aisles thing. I watched an interview with Circa and heard them say this quote “art is never completed, it’s only abandoned” very cool.
