Is this the last time I’ll see you
Trace my curves or kiss hello again?
Tall tales in lovers speak
I saved the wrong man
Is this the last I’ll see you
Trace my curves or kiss hello again?
Tall tales in lovers speak
I blamed the wrong man
Oh no, where did you go?
Give chase, my maraschino.
Is was the last time I saw you-
Trace my curves and kiss hello again
Tall tales in lovers speak
I trust the wrong man
Oh no, where did you go?
Give chase, my maraschino.
I could of loved you with the greatest of ease but you don’t care to keep me safe.
(now we’re stained)
This time around I’ll know what to say:
On a ete tacher
I fawn so I know not what they say:
On a ete tacher

My Maraschino Song Meaning & Comments:

Beautiful song, I translated the last lines “On a ete tacher” and I think it’s French for “It has been stained” which would make sense, it matches the the lines “Now we’re stained”. I’m reading a book called “The Last American Man” right now and this song reminds me of some of the relationships in that book, a guy who’s driven and neglects the girl, the relationships become stained… just like the bright red of a maraschino cherry.
