Meet my new friends:
One, a boxer
Two, are senators
Three, lion tamers
All pretty faces
Together we’ll save the world
From desperation and dismay
Our house is under
Water at the fault
Of the government
They raised the point:
This city is a bad lover
Too quick and inattentive
Let’s sink it and build ourselves over
How will we keep warm?
Alone in our beds
How will we keep warm?
Alone in our towns
Silly citizens
You know there’s a catch
Silly citizens
You know there’s a catch
Silly citizens
You know there’s a catch
Silly citizens
You know there’s a catch
How will we keep warm?
Alone in our beds
How will we keep warm?
Alone in our towns
How will we keep warm?
Alone in our beds
How will we keep warm?
Alone in our towns

The Catch Song Meaning & Comments:
Feb 19, 2010
This song was released in 2006, now we are hearing all about people being “under water” with their mortgages (more owed than the house is worth) and we’re dealing with the catch of incompetent governance. Interesting time to be alive, how will we keep warm when we’re left alone to deal with the consequences of bad politics and past generations of faulty leadership? They were all pretty faces, were they not?
I feel like if we had a race of night elves (which live forever) or were setup to live longer ourselves we would be more considerate of our future, having more of a vested interest. Silly selfish citizens.
