This is one of the most beautiful songs I can imagine… It’s all about helping people and being humble, recognizing your own mortality and doing the best you can with what you’ve got… the time you’ve been given to live. Such a thankful song, it has religious roots and undertones but isn’t preachy and I like that, it applies to everyone. To me the doctor in this song is God and us people are trying to figure out life and what’s “wrong” but really there is so much right and the key, the cure to life is each other. Connecting to and loving one another. My friend Daryl wrote this song and it reminds me of some of my family members who work in the medical field, helping people physically. It reminds me of my Dad and my Mom who help me spiritually and it makes me appreciate life and God. Thanks for an amazing song Daryl, I don’t think it could be much better and you’re an amazing guy!
